is dedicated to promoting awareness of Democratic Education, Unschooling and other alternatives to the devastating effects of traditional, compulsory schooling.

 

Stage One is this web-site, designed to help you learn more about democratic education and find your way to some of the amazing resources that are lighting the way for this international movement.

 

As we grow, our goal is to begin a major media campaign to raise awareness of democratic education, following on the heels of other imperative human revolutions such as the response to the environmental/energy crisis and global poverty. Changing how we educate ourselves in the next generation is the only way to ensure that these overwhelming challenges can be met with imagination, innovation, co-operation and optimism. It’s not just an issue.
